Welcome to the website for the Greenleaf Singers, a singing ensemble based in the St. Louis, MO area.

The Greenleaf Singers' repertoire consists mostly of Renaissance music, specifically 4-part madrigals.

Founded in 1976, the ensemble averages 12 to 16 singers.

The mission of the Greenleaf Singers is as follows:

      • To support and advocate early music through community performances as well as educational outreach.
      • Expand the audience for early music through live performances and applying the standards of excellence to all aspects of performance and programming.
      • Participate in cultural and charitable events in cooperation with boards and associations.
      • To maintain a deep-rooted spirit of cooperation and friendship as foundations for the life of the ensemble.

The ensemble's main performances each year are at the Madrigal Dinners for the Eliot Unitarian Chapel in Kirkwood, MO, the Annual Elizabethan Evening at Emerson Chapel in St. Louis, MO.

The group has also performed at the 2008 Fasching Ball in Hermann, MO, the Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire and the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival.
